Please tell us about yourself and the team working on SmashChain?
SmashChain
I am the CEO and Co-Founder who leading and driving the ship forward and being based in Tokyo and fully integrated into Japan, giving SMASHCHAIN one of our DNA blocks rooted in Japan. Secondly, Robert Vicencio, our COO is heavily involved in Entertainment, being the 2nd part of our DNA block which is as stated above — Entertainment. Finally, our CTO is Dr Moly Li and his team who provide the foundation of our tech & development.

What is SmashChain? Please provide a detailed introduction.
SmashChain
Best to look at us in 3 phases, Phase 1 we’re an NFT agency and management focusing on the creation of unique and pioneering NFTs and NFT strategies and also as a Management, we represent artists from around the world and launch their first-ever NFTs with us under the SMASHCHAIN brand.
Phase 2 — we’ll be creating our very own Marketplace with ways of monetizing NFTs that has yet to be seen in the world. That’s also where our SAS tokens play a big role in the ecosystem.
Finally, Phase 3 — well… let's just say 2 big words — “Metaverse” & “Play-2-Earn”

What are the functions and unique features of SmashChain? What’s your mission behind bringing this token?

I think first is that we focus on NFTs as Peter has mentioned above… But more for bringing CREATORS and FANS together. Secondly, our foundation being pegged with the Entertainment industry brings a unique edge to the content we create and present.
Finally, as we talk about the SAS Token, our Token will be the FUEL that drives our ecosystem and our dreams for the future!

How long term token holders can get benefits? Also share your Roadmap.

One key element is how it will be the utility and governance token in our Marketplace, with our Marketplace being the foundation of what is to become the content provider for our Metaverse. Holding SAS tokens will ensure the holders that they can leverage and enjoy what we have to offer and benefit from the advantages that come from holding and using our tokens.
Our Road Map as Peter had mentioned, is 3 phases…. With each phase presenting exciting new developments in what we bring forward to the world and our communities.

I saw that many projects were unstable for a short period of time. At first, they started with hard work & good attention, after a few months later they didn’t pay attention to this project. Then it ended there. how do plan to survive in the market?

The way in which we mitigate this as we know there are no guarantees in life is to be surrounded by amazing and talented team members and also to have a clear vision and be determined to succeed.
I like the #SMASHCHAIN project name seems to be very interesting. Does it have any story behind it? Can you share us with the inspiration for approaching this name? What is the best project?
RGV
Actually, we wanted to think of a name that can be used as a “verb”…. More importantly, something that was easy to remember…
Additionally in my world of Musical theatre…. when a show is successful in London or Broadway — we call it a “SMASH”!
Finally — we know that the essence of NFTs is the BLOCKCHAIN, and so we wanted to integrate that into our name. Also, the “chain” is a great symbol for holding things together and building on… the CHAIN is also are individual link bound together for a SINGLE purpose!
THUS — SMASHCHAIN was born!
Partnership is very important for every project. Can you tell us about some of your partners and who you plan to collaborate with in the near future?
SmashChain
We’re proud to say we’re working with some really amazing people — one being Jack Sholder, the director of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 and his team who are in the process of producing Jack’s next film. We’ve launched the start of a new way of cinema production and that’s to launch a range of NFTs to part-fund this film. Starting from the Synopsis and coming next to the Character and Scene designs.
We just also launched Geordie Dandy’s Genesis collection, Geordie being the Face of Resident Evil’s Chris Redfield and now we’re working on our Play2Earn epic game with Geordie. Also, we’ve introduced the “pre-burn” NFT concept that has been well received by our community.
The Pipeline is very exciting with big names and brands that we aim to announce, but one thing I can guarantee is that each one is special and we’re proud & honoured to be working with them.

We are currently working on negotiating with a few other well-known brand exchanges that should be announced in Q2..stay tuned!

Currently, market is becoming very bullish on NFT trend. Can you share your opinion on NFT as a player in the NFT market? And does Smashchain have any plan with NFT?
RGV
Yes — one thing we cannot deny is that NFTS is here to stay! They will become ever more intertwined with our social media and everyday living, whether we know it or not — they will exist and change/modify how we do things or interact with things, be it brands, celebrities, films, music or our own deeds to our houses. We are at the precipice of the NFT REVOLUTION!!!!
