The session of AMA ( Ask Me Anything ) with was conducted on 25 May 2022 at 5:30 PM IST (12 PM UTC) and lasted for 1:30 hours.

Mark Dencker from RealEstate.Exchange has joined us for this AMA session.

Please introduce yourself to our community?

Mark Dencker
Sure, my name is Mark and I am sitting here in Denmark
I am an economist by education but a programmer by experience
With that in mind, working in crypto/blockchain sort of seemed written in the stars for me I started developing my first dapps on Ethereum in 2017, and since then I have basically made it my life mission to connect the “real” physical world together with the new and exciting digital world of blockchain
RealEstate.Exchange is naturally my contribution to bringing real estate (the largest asset class in the world) to the blockchain.

What is so exciting about Realestate.Exchange, which might make Realestate.Exchange different from all other projects out there?

Mark Dencker
I think our approach is fundamentally what distinguishes us. Many have tried to bring real estate on the blockchain by forking existing DEXs like Uniswap or Balancer. This is not a good approach because when you fork you also isolate liquidity, meaning you will need to do A LOT of promoting to get the same level of liquidity as Uniswap and Balancer, which has more than $10bn TVL already. Liquidity is key because when we talk about real estate investments, they are typically quite large. Hence if you buy say for $100, $1000, $10k, $100k, etc in a market that has low liquidity, you will move the price a lot. This makes trading and exchanging undesirable
On top of that comes a bunch of security that you cannot maintain when you decide to fork another dapp
SO, our approach is therefore NOT to fork existing protocols but to build on top of them
The first AMM we integrate with and create liquidity pools on is Balancer. They actually gave us not one but two grants to build the first liquidity pools on Balancer
With that, we tap into $3.4bn liquidity locked up on Balancer, and more than $700m in trading volume. Now that’s what is needed if the real estate will ever become an asset class that is traded on a chain

What is the name of the token that Realestate.Exchange has? How much supply is available and where the token allocated?

Mark Dencker
10bn BRICK tokens are the total supply
We have currently completed our seed token sale successfully to build out the first version of
While building the first version we are doing our private sale
The overall allocation we have is:

Seed sale 6.00% 600,000,000
Private sale 10.00% 1,000,000,000
Public sale 2.00% 200,000,000
Ecosystem 40.00% 4,000,000,000
Liquidity 10.00% 1,000,000,000
Fund 16.00% 1,600,000,000
Community 4.00% 400,000,000
Team 10.00% 1,000,000,000
Advisor 2.00% 200,000,000
Notice in the tokenomics allocation that we have allocated 50% (!) to build out the ecosystem + liquidity
This is important because we think real estate will be just as large a market — if not larger — on-chain as it is off-chain.
Today the real estate market is worth trillions. And basically whoever manages to bring real estate on the blockchain the best — as in whoever will have the strongest ecosystem — are the ones that will benefit the most (and the token) from the real estate market onchain
In short, BRICK and aims at being THE place people think of first when they think about buying real estate. If we manage to build a solution that is easy to use and provides a good user experience, then the market is huge

What strategy does RealEstate.Exchange have to develop the community and maintain long-term user?

Mark Dencker
other than that, we tap into the communities of our partners, such as Balancer
Building on top of pre-existing AMMs and DEXs like Balancer comes with a wealth of benefits — including a large and super strong community that is equally excited about us tokenizing real estate on balancer:)
so yeah, AMAs with communities across the globe (since we are a global project with real estate properties available all over the world) and connecting with the communities of our partners

How can you join the tokensale? isn’t that a huge advantage? Do you use a vesting period system to avoid dumpers?

Mark Dencker
Yes, we have vesting schedules in place for everyone working on/buying BRICK before the public sale
We expect the public sale to happen on Copperlaunch, so basically in a Balancer LP
The token sale will happen after the summer though, so make sure to follow us on Twitter, telegram, or best even to sign up with your email on

Who are you partnering up with, and why?

Mark Dencker
As mentioned Balancer, to begin with, but important to say that we are not limited to one protocol/AMM, we can relatively easily partner up with others that support other chains. But for now, we are working closely with Balancer
The reasons to start with Balancer:
1. TVL / Liquidity: They are the top 3 or 4 largest AMM in the world
2. Chains: They support Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum, which we also want to work with initially
3: Security: Balancer has received the highest security scores from auditing companies. This is crucial to our clients who are real estate developers or investors, who are the ones selling their properties via These guys are very traditional/conservative, so security is a top priority for them and hence for us. a final point that could be mentioned is that Balancer is right now positioning itself to be THE protocol that CeFi uses to enter DeFi.

What’s the motivation for starting this #realestatebrick project?

Mark Dencker
Personally: I want to bridge the gap between non-crypto and crypto people. Real Estate is something EVERYONE can relate to, its the largest asset in the world, and if we are really to build a world where “everything will be tokenized running on-chain”, real estate is then a key part to make that happen
For the team, our advisors, and partners: We generally get a sense that many have tried to put real estate on the blockchain with a “get rich quick” kind of approach. Forking protocols for example.
BRICK is not a get-rich-quick token/scheme. BRICK is a token that is key to having the liquidity pools work and building an ecosystem in DeFi around real estate. It will take time, but that's ok. With our continuous effort and laser focus on building something that users love, we think we will succeed in building that ecosystem and hence succeed in bringing real estate to the blockchain
A final reason for many involved in the project is that crypto/blockchain needs a “safe haven”
Many refer to stablecoins as a safe haven, but with the recent developments with for example UST, I would argue stablecoins are not a safe place to put your assets/funds
Then you have gold/commodities — like PAXG — but who really wants to buy gold that you cannot even show/wear at parties:)?
So that leaves real estate, which is not possible today, but we are working on making that happen so that you always have a place where you can allocate your funds in a safe way

As an investor, security is always the main aspect before deciding to start an investment. How strong security do #realestatebrick have and did you already have an Audit to be more sure about your security?

Mark Dencker
So we did not have an audit — yet — but we certainly will. the BRICK token is quite simple though. A standard ERC-20 token, nothing fancy.
The security risk lies more in, and here we are covered by Balancer’s strong focus on security, both now and in the past
Hence, the only way our liquidity pools with real estate tokens in them can be hacked is to hack a balancer. And that is difficult, trust me, I tried (and failed!)

Partners are the most important that strengthen the ecosystems of all projects. Could you tell us about your “#realestatebrick” project partners and the partnership strategy it has adopted?

Mark Dencker
btw speaking of security, I highly encourage people to go on and check the dapps they have connected their wallet to, both new dapps they are considering, and to check dapps they connected with in the past
for the next question on partnership strategy, I think it is best captured in the punch line:
“Do what you do best and link to the rest”
So for, we are focused on building an ecosystem around BRICK to trade real estate on the blockchain
We are not necessarily experts in AMM security, trading volumes, etc, so we went out and partnered with those that do that the best
We are not experts in KYC and AML either, so we partner with KYC providers to whitelist / verify people.

Can you tell us about your team members? are they qualified and professional in their fields? what are the recruiting qualifications for team members for your extraordinary project? thank you….Is your project listed on coingecko and coinmRealEstateetcap or not?

Mark Dencker
In terms of the team, we have Real Estate experts, investment experts, and marketing experts, who have all successfully built companies and worked in big corporations or blockchain companies.

Joan Alonzo
Can you tell how much you value your community and holders and what role they play in some of the major decisions.?

Mark Dencker
The BRICK token will provide voting rights. You can learn more about our tokenomics and how they are being used for governance in our Medium Publication:

Please tell me,How can I buy your tokens right now?Andwhich wallet support your token?

Mark Dencker
Right now you can sign up for the Private Sale, and thereby get the tokens at a discount. You will have to DM @emholte to do that. They will be listed on Copperlaunch later

Can you please provide me your official telegram group links and social media links? I have seen many similar groups

Mark Dencker
If you want to be sure, that it is a genuine page. go through our LinkTree:

Staking programme is very important for any project,? Can i stake your token,? Do you have any plan of starting staking programme?

Mark Dencker
Right now you can only buy through private sales. We are not allowed to advertise it, because it is private. But DM Emholte, and you will be able to… Soon it will launch on Copperlaunch
