I’m Kamil, Chief Strategy Officer here @ GameStar. I have a lot of experience in centralized game item markets and ways in which one can arbitrage them for profit. Our CEO is Joshua who is a former director @ Paxful and have a lot of experience in the crypto space. We have Justin which is our Chief Digital Officer — he’s a nut for NFTs, play-to-earn, and the metaverse. furthermore, we have Dev our CMO from Blockwiz and Emmanuel our Customer Relations Manager.

What accomplishments GameStar has made so far? Also share your upcoming plans?

Funding rounds completed, the platform is ready and in testnet (v1 with gift card <> crypto), partnered with currency.com, egoras, netvrk, sugar bounce, Gamestation. upcoming plans for v2 include integration p2p game item trading for centralized items (CSGO, World of Warcraft, Runescape) as well as our NFT marketplace specializing in-game item NFTs + metaverse.

One of the main disadvantages of virtual stores is the lack of payment methods with cryptocurrencies, can you please tell us in which type of markets the GameStar Gift Card will be compatible and how can we buy it? Will it be all currencies accepted?

This question is a little messy haha . gamestar itself does not have its own gift card, we simply allow users to trade their gift cards (Amazon, Google, iTunes) for cryptocurrency through a decentralized smart contract model with no centralized asset custody. BUSD is the primary currency used to be able to perform these transactions. with the implementation of other cryptos added on-demand / through DAO voting. as for currencies of gift cards, we support all currencies (Amazon USD, CAD, CNY etc).
GameStar aims to unlock immense DeFi opportunities through cross-chain interoperability of major chains. But only the main chains? How much do you want to expand interoperability in the future? What are the main chains that they run and how do they allow a decrease in rates?

layer zero is connected to all chains. so expansion is up to imagination, requirements and so forth. so erc20, bep20, cardano and solana for now.

community is everything in pure DeFi. since we will be transferring ownership entirely to the DAO, the community runs the show. power to the people! collaboration/help would be mainly in finding artists currently who would be willing to create some custom game NFTs/artwork for us. otherwise, follow us on all socials and be active! spread the good news :)

community trust is #1 in a DeFi project. expanding the platform to incorporate all game related p2p-able items is critical for achieving market saturation. token price will follow when the first three are done right :)

A recent hot topic has been that GameFi platforms are not easily accessible as it may cost users hundreds of dollars to get started, how have you lowered the barrier of entry?

ETH is synonymous with high gas fees however we are on BSC which carry very minimal fees for all transactions.
SPEED
NFT is a hot topic right now, but NFT isn’t just for art. Does your project think there will be many NFT use cases? Why should we take NFT seriously?

NFT art is the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg. for instance you could buy a concert ticket as an nft, enter an arena with NFT pass , buy a gift card and convert it to crypto / nft among many many more.
