My name is Ellie and I’m the marketing manager for Gamestarter!
I’ve been working in marketing and project management since 2017. I shifted from spearheading partnerships and project management for many different companies in the industry under a notable crypto PR firm. I later jumped into the world of gaming and fell in love with the idea of implementing NFTs into video games to empower ownership and true value.

What Dark Frontiers project is about? Give a detailed introduction.

Dark Frontiers is an open-world universe attached to a DAO. For the people — by the people. The goal for DF is to accelerate the integration of crypto with gaming to fuel the flame for mass adoption. Players will soon be able to enhance their gaming and yield farming experiences through PC and also VR… in space. Let’s talk about some of the fuel for this rocket. Players will be exposed to $DARK Energies represented as ERC20 which can be used within the game and are needed for performing actions and quests within the game. In a first instance, it helps them forge and own land plots on the moon’s surface that are represented as unique NFTs. Dark Frontiers is powered by the $DARK (ERC20) Energy Token that will be used to forge land NFTs.

Nowadays blockchain games are very similar, so what makes Dark Frontiers unique?

Agree to disagree — however, crypto is following the evolutionary footsteps of original game development. Almost 40 years ago, the game Pong was created and sent out to the rest of the world. Over these years, games have developed dramatically from 2d, pixel-based games like Sonic and Mario, all the way to AAA games like No Man’s Sky. Dark Frontiers is spearheading the evolutionary race of efficient game development by catering to the current trend of gamers in the industry. With our digital artists and game developers hard at work, we’re aiming to bring you a game that will keep you locked in your seats while reaping the benefits of our play2earn model. There are plenty of play2earn models coming up, but the gamification aspect simply isn’t up to par.

What are the competitive advantage of Dark Frontiers, can you state few killer features?

One very special aspect about Dark Frontiers is, and this is the only one I can tell you for now, is our NFT design. Users will be able to stake their $DARK tokens within their NFTs and earn interest based on the staking value. These NFTs, with their stakes, can also be transferred to other interested parties looking for digital real estate or in-game items… Another feature we like to talk about is the VR capability of the game. This is yet to be done in the industry and we’re taking the opportunity to release it to the world for others to follow suit.

Is your primary traffic mainly going to be gamers and artists or is there any other target market which you guys are focusing on now or in future?

We have a network of Gamestarter’s KOLs and community, as well as the other 3 launchpads we are collaborating with for starters. So it’s already a significant amount of exposure. We will later use famous Twitchers to stream the game and attract more mainstream players and also big mainstream influencers.

You will be able to trade Dark Frontiers’ NFTs on Gamestarter, Mintable (not all) and another marketplace that starts with Bi… can’t disclose it now, so you finish the name in your mind 😄.

The concept of the land seems to be the same everywhere these days — what will be different in DARK FRONTIER ?

The mechanics and the outcome of land claiming will be different in Dark Frontiers. I hope we will release our gameplay trailer this week (although the timelines are tight). You will be able to see it up close how it will work.

In-spite of having the best AUDITS — how are we the USERS — be comfortable in such threats from the hackers ? and how is the compensation or preparation from $DARK on this aspect?

There was a recent hack on Dao Maker that affected some other projects that launched around the same time as us. We were not affected. But we increased our security measures even more after it (our CTO is already a paranoid guy, so security is something he can talk hours about). $GAME smart contract was audited by Hacken.io, one of the best cybersecurity companies. Gamestarter launchpad and marketplace is being audited right now. We decided to change the initial login procedure on Gamestarter in order not to use sensitive information. We see Dark Frontiers as a part of Gamestarter’s ecosystem. So the same high security standards will apply.

Dark Frontiers is really a hyped project with Quadruple Launchpads: Dao Maker, Gamestarter, Red Kite and GameFi. Could you share some of your super powers to acheive such a great start from the beginning? Kindly share your ultimate vision and goals?

We just have a great project and we want to get as much exposure as possible! The quadruple launch will help us to kickstart that! Our ultimate goal is to grow the Dark Frontiers universe, become the no P2E game and attract mainstream players recognition.
Dark_Frontiers builds a liquidity pool based on a decentralized protocol. So when its launched what major currencies will be supported and how will users deposit assets into it?

There will be a version of this in the game though. Players will be able to claim land, which will freeze a certain amount of $DARK BUT it will also mine your energy which you will be able to exchange to $DARK or NFTs.
DarkFrontiers allows users to create and evolve their equipment by “Merging” two NFTs. Should the NFTs have the same characteristics and rarity in order for them to merge? Will there be a failure of merging that can cause NFTs burning and destruction?

ODetails like that will be revealed closer to the game launch 🙂 Yes, there will be a failure element, but also the opposite outcome — legendary.

$GAME has a BSC bridge and Dark Frontiers and Pixel Pix will have native BSC tokens with bridge to erc-20.
The first IGO on Gamestarter, Dark Frontiers, launches on the 6th of October and will list in exchanges on the same day. It’s going to be a quadruple launch as Dark Frontiers will also launch on Dao Maker, Red Kite and GameFi — the hottest launchpads of the moment.
